Adrenaline Rush in Sri Lanka

Day 01 & 02
Arrival / Kalpitiya
Kalpitiya claims to be the world's kite-surfing capital. For the most of the year, this tiny sandbar on Sri Lanka's north-east coast boasts dependably windy conditions, ideal for a downwinder or two. Discover a relaxed hangout brimming with soul. Beginners and beginners may learn to kitesurf on Puttalam Lagoon or in the ocean with the assistance of experts. We have a lot to fit into this active vacation, so we recommend a three-hour drive to Kalpitiya once you arrive at the airport, but we can adjust your plan if necessary.
Day 03 & 04
Kalpitiya / Cultural Triangle
In the Cultural Triangle, you'll find several of the island's most stunning ancient remains. Spend the day unwinding at your accommodation before venturing out into the cooler evening air to climb the towering Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of the world's most dramatic, inspirational, and gorgeous historical sites. The next day, burn off some energy by exploring Ritigala's historic monastery or going on a game drive in search of elephants in Minneriya.
Day 05, 06, 07
Cultural Triangle / Knuckles
Rise early and start your day with a spectacular hot air balloon trip at dawn. Soar over the parched plains and jungle environment as the sun begins to color the sky crimson and gold, and marvel at the ruins that still protrude boldly from the soil. Enjoy a complementary glass of champagne upon arrival. The remainder of the morning will be spent traveling to a rural settlement in the Knuckles Mountain Range. The Knuckles Conservation Range is called from its likeness to a set of knuckles on a clenched fist, and it comprises of five mountain summits and numerous lesser peaks, with the highest point around 6,000 feet above sea level.
Day 08 & 09
Knuckles / Ella
The following two days will be spent walking in the Knuckles, passing by terraced rice fields and tea plantations, rivers and waterfalls, deep woods, and small rural village settlements teeming with wildlife. The scenery in this secluded environment is breathtaking: misty mountains and magnificent valleys, old rock formations, lush woods, and bubbling streams. Knuckles is an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind combination of nature, culture, and adventure.
Day 10 & 11
Ella / Kithulgala / Sinharaja / Kithulgala
A trip to the hill country and Ella, its liveliest and youngest town. From here, you may take an evening hike up Little Adams Peak to see the sunset. Hike up to Nine Arches Bridge or Ella Rock, both of which are two-hour slightly hard hikes with panoramic views at the top. Ride through rural roads and tea plantations on a mountain bike excursion to Ella Waterfall. Take a trek up to Lipton's Seat, Sir Thomas Lipton's favorite viewpoint and an early creator of Sri Lanka's tea business.A nice morning traveling westward through beautiful hill country scenery concludes by noon at Kitulgala, Sri Lanka's river sports capital. The Kelani River, which offers dramatic Grade 3 rapids for rafting as well as rapids ideal for novices, is responsible for Kitulgala Forest Reserve's appeal. Wake up to the sounds of birds and the rushing river before partaking in some of the adrenaline sports available here, such as kayaking, rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, abseiling, and hiking. We recommend camping here, but there is also a list of the top eco-retreats.
Day 12, 13, 14
Kithulgala / Mirissa
We conclude the way we began: with some relaxing beach days. The south coast of Sri Lanka has a plethora of water-based activities. At Weligama, you may learn to surf or take a boat out into the deep oceans in search of whales and dolphins.
